Alden x J. Crew Snuff Suede Boots

These guys arrived on my doorstep a few days ago. I’m incredibly pleased with the construction (which lives up to the typical Alden standard—very high) and the comfort. These are the same TruBalance last that Alden uses for the Indy boots (which I also adore). The suede offers a less rigid shoe than the leather Indy boots, so there is a bit better range of motion while maintaining shape—a problem which haunts my collection of chukka and desert boots.

All in all, this is a tremendous boot that I’ll wear for the Fall season in rotation with Indy boots during casual times.
